Intergraph Australia User Conference 2008 (IUC 2008) brought together Intergraph's customers and partners from public safety, utilities and government agencies. The three days of informative industry insights and innovative strategies was a chance to talk directly to people in the know and your peers.
The conference ran from Monday 3rd March to Wednesday 5th March.
IUC 2008 will be held at The Crowne Plaza, Hunter Valley, New South Wales.
IUC 2008 began with technical sessions focused on utilities & infrastructure, public safety and government. The conference featured speakers of national and international significance, also offering customers the opportunity to present on a variety of topics. The conference wound down with round table focus group discussions.

Peter is a business leader with over 20 years experience achieving profitable business growth and was recruited to grow Intergraph’s Australian business. Peter has set the strategic direction of Intergraph Australia to focus on Public Safety, Security and the protection of critical government infrastructure assets. Peter’s experience stems from many years implementing Engineering Systems in steel mills, mining operations and food processing plants, marketing and selling business software systems, implementing business systems and change programs into both Government and Private Sector and running businesses in the IT sector. |
Stephen Conroy, Minister for Broadband, Communications and the Digital Economy, Senator for Victoria
Stephen Conroy was appointed as a Senator for Victoria in the upper house of the Australian Parliament in 1996. Stephen was sworn in as the Minister for Broadband, Communications and the Digital Economy on 3 December 2007. As Minister for Broadband, Communications and the Digital Economy, Senator Conroy is committed to the delivery of world class telecommunications infrastructure for all Australians. |
Tim Mahoney, Vice President Security, Government & Infrastructure, Asia Pacifc
| Tim Mahoney has over 20 years of experience in executive management roles, the last 14 of which have been with Intergraph. Mr. Mahoney has managed industry sales in Europe and Africa and has been a country manager for the Netherlands, Switzerland and Greece. In addition to earth imaging has has worked in industry areas such as Government, Transportation and Buidling and brings a wealth of experience to Intergraph Asia Pacific. Based in Hong Kong, Mr. Mahoney is responsibile for the Intergraph Security, Government & Infratsutructure operations throughout the Asia Pacific Region |
Anthony Seipolt - Farrier Swier Consulting
Anthony is senior utility consultant with extensive experience in the energy and water sectors and significant international and local expertise. He is a former National Manager and Director of Parsons Brinkerhoff Associates. Anthony has a masters of Business Administration and qualifaction in electrical engineering. |

Robert H. Scott III, Executive Director, Security Solutions Marketing, Intergraph Security, Government & Infrastructure
Mr. Scott is currently the Industry Manager for Security Solution initiatives at Intergraph. He is responsible for marketing solutions that relate to integrated security and public safety systems for national governments, military installations, critical infrastructure protection and state/local government.. Mr. Scott has been with Intergraph a total of 20 years in various capacities. |
